Hello, and welcome to my little blog! I started this space to share my passion for the work I do as a children's librarian.
I began my career at the library as a page in the youth services department. I loved the cozy furniture, bright colors, little stories, and so much more! Over time, I took on roles as a circulation clerk and then a youth services clerk. When I finished my bachelor's degree, a position for a youth services assistant librarian opened up, and it felt like the perfect fit. I started working at a small branch, leading storytimes, doing outreach, and supervising. During that period, I earned my master's degree and became a children's librarian. Today, I still do the same things: supervising, purchasing books, leading storytimes, and engaging in outreach!
Outside of the library, I enjoy paranormal podcasts, playing Hogwarts Legacy and Sims 4, diving into Wikipedia rabbit holes, Harry Potter, coffee, and of course, reading! I got married in November of 2025 to my wonderful wife, and we adopted a cat on my birthday! It was more like she found us, but we named her Phoenix!
